MAIN STAGES OF WATER PURIFICATION AND ACTIVATION
All processes of water purification and activation in EMERALD devices are as close as possible to what happens with water in living nature.
STEP 1. ANODE CHAMBER OF ELECTROCHEMICAL MODULE
- In the anode chamber of the module, oxidative reactions take place; In nature, similar processes occur in all living organisms during phagocytosis (the universal process of antimicrobial protection);
- Full elimination of microorganisms (bacteria, mycobacteria, viruses, fungi, spores), microbial toxins and biofilms of all types and forms by 99,9999%;
- Oxidative destruction of harmful organic compounds, such as herbicides, pesticides, surfactants, phenols and oil products;
- Iron removal with the conversion of iron ions into a 3-valent form easy for further mechanical filtering;
- The water is enriched with oxygen.
STEP 2. CATALYTIC FILTER
- Water is purified from a wide range of organic and inorganic dissolved impurities that undergo oxidative degradation in the anode chamber of the module;
- Water is purified from free chlorine and organochlorine compounds;
- The taste of water improves and the unpleasant odor is eliminated, also due to the anode removal of phenols and hydrogen sulfide.
STEP 3. CATHODE CHAMBER OF ELECTROCHEMICAL MODULE
- In the cathode chamber of the module reducing reactions take place; In nature, similar processes occur due to the contact of water with rocks, as well as during the phase transitions in the melting of glaciers;
- The water becomes antioxidant (– ORP) while maintaining neutral pH level similar to pH level of the human body;
