WETEX 2023

WETEX and Dubai Solar Show organised by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), are in line with Dubai’s vision to build a sustainable future for the Emirate and is held annually under the directive of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The exhibition provides a leading platform for international organisations to present their latest solutions and products, and to learn about innovative technologies from all over the world in the sectors of energy, water, sustainability, green technologies, renewable and clean energy, green mobility solutions, sustainable development, green buildings, water desalination technologies, smart cities and others.

The Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) and Dubai Solar Show (DSS) concluded its 25th session with great success and unprecedented participation. The exhibition attracted around 2,600 companies from 62 countries around the world, 76 sponsors from international companies and organisations. It included 24 international pavilions from 16 countries. The exhibition’s visitors praised the advanced technologies and innovative solutions presented by companies and organisations at the exhibition.

EMERALD water treatment devices and technologies have aroused great interest among companies involved in municipal water treatment, swimming pools, desalination and wastewater disinfection.

Negotiations were held with more than 100 companies from all over the world and an agreement was reached with the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) to implement EMERALD technologies to improve the efficiency of water treatment before feeding to reverse osmosis, as well as to develop a project for brine desalination before discharge into the sea.

EMERALD devices basing on nature-like and effective electrochemical activation (ECA) technology enable in:

• EMERALD HOME devices to produce clean and healthy drinking antioxidant water enriched with hydrogen;
• EMERALD TURBO devices to provide complex disinfection, treatment and conditioning of drinking water, wastewater, swimming pool water, seawater;
• EMERALD STEL devices to produce environmentally friendly disinfecting sterilizing agent Anolyte ANK SUPER;
• EMERALD AQUACHLOR devices to disinfect drinking water, wastewater, swimming pool water, sea water at any place and quantity;
• EMERALD ECOCHLOR devices to synthesize chlorine and caustic soda solution on site by electrolysis of ordinary sodium chloride solution;
• EMERALD HYDRO devices to produce pure “green” hydrogen and oxygen;
• EMERALD DESALT devices to desalinate seawater or brackish water with simultaneous production of chlorine, caustic soda, hydrogen and sulfuric acid.

The majority of EMERALD devices presented at the exhibition are unrivaled throughout the world.
